Irish breeders had success with an online sale seeing a top price coming from William McAllister’s Artnagullion flock, with a ram lamb selling for £10,000 to Ian Craigs Ballynoe House flock, Antrim. The ram lamb’s dam bred the 1st prize gimmer, Reserve Female Champion, and Reserve Overall Champion at Balmoral 2023.

Taking the second top price from Graham Foster’s Springhill flock was the interbreed Champion ram lamb Balmoral 2023, sired by Springhill Aston Martin. Selling for £9100 to George Hoggard’s Manor House flock, Newark.

Richard Powell’s Iskeymeadow flock topped at £3,500 with a smart ram lamb selling to Logie Durno Sheep.
